2020 Theme

Theme for 2020: Be Thou My Vision

Key Verses

“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” (Colossians 3:1)

“Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2)

Purpose and Aim of the Theme

This theme will help us keep our “eyes of faith” focused on God—his nature, what he has done through Christ, his will for us, and the hope we have through his promises. The theme lessons will call attention to the importance of seeing the power and wisdom of God in creation and redemption, walking by faith, and glorifying him in our lives.

Sermons on the Theme

Each month we will have a sermon that deals with a different aspect of the theme. These lessons will help us grow in our walk with God, and provide good opportunities to invite a guest to learn about God and his plan. Please mark the dates.
