We are stewards of the things that belong to God. All that we have—our wealth, our talents, all that we have—is God’s. All that we have, all that has been placed in our hands, we should use in the service of our Master. And we should pursue it with all our might. In doing so, we show ourselves to be, not unfaithful, selfish stewards, but faithful, giving stewards. We show ourselves to be more like Jesus, who did his father’s will to save us. Faithful stewards are the kind of stewards that this world needs, and that God wants.
