This parable is about the Bible principle of stewardship. Jesus teaches that when we use what God has given us, he rewards us with more—more gifts and opportunities, and the ultimate reward of entering into the joy of the Lord. But sadly, if we fail to use our gifts, they will be taken away from us. We lose what we fail to use.
