How Sweet, How Heavenly: The Unity of God's People

Key Verses

"Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!" - Psalm 133.1

"I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me." - John 17.20-21

Purpose and Aim of the Theme

The title of our theme for 2021 is also the title of a great old hymn of praise. Like the psalm on which it is based, the hymn is a meditation on the blessedness of unity in the family of God. Our theme for the year focuses on that oneness that our Lord taught and prayed should characterize us as His disciples.

Sermons on the Theme

Each month we will share a lesson on the theme. We pray that these lessons will help us as we walk with God and as we strive to preserve and strengthen the unity that we have with one another. May we use these opportunities to invite others to learn about the Lord and His family. Please mark the dates.
