One day, Jesus was invited into the home of a Pharisee named Simon for a dinner. While they were reclining at the table, a woman from the city walked into the house. This woman evidently—and probably deservedly—had a very bad reputation as a sinful person. But, uninvited, she came in because she had learned that Jesus was there. And then a most unusual incident occurred.
