What To Expect
Adult Bible Classes
Conducted by experienced teachers who have been selected for their knowledge of the scriptures and teaching abilities. Class content may be direct study of a particular book of the bible or a scriptural theme study. Most classes are presented with a combination of lecture and interactive discussion.
Held for all ages ranging from 6 months to High School ages. We chronologically cycle through the Old and New Testaments every three years in an effort to help our children understand that the entire bible is a single story, the story of God’s plan of salvation for man through His son, Jesus Christ.
In our effort to pattern ourselves after the local churches of the 1st Century, each Sunday morning worship service includes singing, praying, teaching, communion and giving.
COMMUNION (LORD’S SUPPER)
Churches of the New Testament offered up praise to God through the partaking of the bread and the cup, sometimes referred to as communion or the Lord’s Supper -- Acts 2:42; 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29
Churches of the New Testament, following the guidance of the apostles teaching, offered up praise to God through giving -- 1 Corinthians 16:2 (Giving is the responsibility of our members; visitors are not expected to give)
